Kate is a hybrid marketing and business development strategist with 15 years’ experience in agency and corporate settings, as well as tenure with global leadership organizations. Post-pandemic, she is now focused on the wellness and conscious beauty movement. As a brand ambassador for start-up Midori, her focus is centered on developing influencer partnerships to align with their mission to educate consumers on ingredient safety for themselves, their families, and the planet.

Additionally, she’s served clients across the hospitality, technology, financial services, pharma, energy, retail, and automotive categories. It’s apparent she wears her badge as an Enneagram type seven, known as “the enthusiast,” with pride. Her relentless curiosity for new information and experiences plays into her storytelling and gift for creating trusting environments during interviews.

One of her proudest career accomplishments includes receiving the McKinsey business strategy course certificate. Other passions are spending time with family, doing yoga, and cuddling her cavapoo, Rubiks.

Heather McLean Wiederhoeft

With more than 30 years of experience in communications, Heather McLean Wiederhoeft is a strategic communications professional. She spent seven years with YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization), most recently as Communications Director where she planned and developed strategic communications for YPO members, board of directors, volunteers and employees. Over her career, she also worked in health care, aviation, energy and with nonprofits. Heather has been the editor of two magazines and written numerous feature articles. She’s a proud graduate of the University of Texas at Austin having earned a Bachelor of Journalism.
